Red Shawarma sauce
Boosts you Pita, Gyros, Shawarma to another level instead of using simple ketchup or BBQ sauce, make your own epic homemade red shawarma sauce. Full of sweet and slightly spicy flavors including red onion, cucumber. Enjoy!

Serves: 200 ml
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
• 100 ml / ½ cup of sunflower oil
• Small tin of tomato paste
• 2 red onions finely diced
• Half a cucumber without seeds in very fine cubes
• A tablespoon of fresh parsley
• 2 tablespoons of white (whine) vinegar
• 1 tablespoon of sugar
• Pinch of salt and ground black pepper
• Optionally for a spicy version add a finely diced chili pepper
Steps
1. Mix the sunflower oil with the tomato paste then all the remaining ingredients.
2. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Ready to serve, Enjoy!
